about

I have always wanted to be a celebrant. It’s such a rewarding and significant way to be with people. With children older and weekends freed up, I have the time to devote to all matters ceremonial!

I’m a people person, warm and truly interested in what matters to others. I have always worked in people oriented ways, as a teacher of creative arts, a professional massage therapist and childbirth educator, and with people with disabilities. I also have professional training in writing and in theatre, both of which I bring to this work.

I chose the intensive, tertiary level, Monash University Graduate Diploma in Civil Ceremonies for my study to become a celebrant. It offered the most comprehensive course available in Australia, covering all aspects of culture and traditions, and also practical celebrant work. This depth of study and preparation was fascinating and has given me many of the skills you can rely on to help you mark the big changes in your lives. I am proud to be a member of CCGA, the Monash Graduates Celebrant Association.

I feel life is truly precious, and our relationships with one another and our world are our truest treasures . These things deserve celebrating-often!
